Hi Friends,

Happy Thursday! This week I have been reflecting a lot on our summer activities, from our pilgrimage to Greece to our day trip to Six Flags to our wonderful middle school retreat to Florida! The main things that ties all of these events together is the sense of community they all created. Friendships were rekindled, created, and nourished and through that our community continued to grow stronger. As we come out of summer, my hope is that all of the relationships that were created over the summer carry into the school year. I hope that everyone will continue to come to Y'All Saints programs and continue to nourish yourself, your relationship with God, and your friendships at church.

A reminder that a great time to reconnect with friends at All Saints' is at our Back to The Block Celebration on August 14th after the 10am service! There will be activities for all ages, delicious food, and it will be a fun chance to see so many people from All Saints' come back together after the summer break. We can't wait to see everyone soon!

Peace,
Hope

Parent Volunteer Corner

As we get closer to our fall programming, which begins on September 11th, we wanted to start ensuring we have parent volunteers at a variety of our events! Volunteering for Y'All Saints Youth Ministry is something we hope all parents will participate in, in at least one way. This ranges from being a Sunday School teacher to providing a meal during SNL one night. Please think through how you would like to serve and respond via the link below!

Description of Opportunities:
  • SNL Meal Volunteer: Providing a meal during one of our SNL nights for approximately 20 youth. This could be homemade, delivery, or catered...it would totally be up to you!
  • Volunteering at SNL: Being an additional adult presence at one of our SNL nights. This would be a time commitment of 6pm-7:30pm on a Sunday night.
  • Volunteering during Attic Invasion: Being an additional adult presence at one of our middle school Attic Invasions. This would be a time commitment of 7pm-9pm on a Friday night.
  • Sunday School Teacher: This would be a September-May commitment to teaching each Sunday morning at 10:15am. This is a great way to get to know our youth and be an influential person in their faith life! Our classes are divided by 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, and high school
  • High School Small Group Leader: High School small groups will meet once a month on Wednesday nights at 6pm. They will follow a small group guide with lots of great questions and conversation. We look forward to providing this new ministry for our high schoolers!
  • Weekend Retreat Chaperone: Volunteering to drive youth and stay during one of our diocesan retreats at Camp Mikell! These always last from Friday night-Sunday afternoon.
