Today is "toss-time" in my household - aka time to clear a space that has been driving me coo-coo for a bit too long.
On the docket is the hall closet - where we store both coats and things Chloe needs to access weekly like math study guides, notebooks, and art supplies. For the love of gawd! It has turned into a complete clutter catcher and I can't look inside without getting hives. π«£
Now, you might be saying, "But Francesca, you are a minimalist. How is it that you have clutter?"
Well, Francesca, I'm glad you asked. I have clutter because, just like the next person, I juggle home, family, work and all the things that come with it. While I have created habits for keeping clutter at bay sometimes (or I should say, over time) stuff sneaks in and overstays its welcome.
And because I am a minimalist that stuff sticks out more and starts to feel like someone is poking me in the arm over and over...and over...until I break down and go all Junk King on the space. π¬
So, I'm going in - with Chloe. If we're not out in 15 minutes call the paramedics.
