A Word From Our Director

Happy February – the month of groundhogs, hearts, and presidents!

We are happy to announce that, after many years of renting office and Thrift Store space, we have completed the purchase of our property! Society for disABILITIES now has a permanent home - a very important milestone for a nonprofit agency.

In addition to the buildings we occupy, we have also acquired two occupied commercial rental properties and a 2000 square foot space to help house our Medical Equipment Loan Closet. The future is brighter knowing that we have a firm foundation, in more ways than one!

Our annual Jeans & Jewels Gala is coming up on April 18 and we’d love to see you there! It’s a major fundraiser and a very fun event. Get some friends together and buy a table or forward the info to a company who might like to sponsor. We are also looking for raffle items and dessert donations – can you help??

Enjoy the additional weeks of Winter predicted by the groundhog; express love for yourself and others in the month of St. Valentine; and enjoy your President’s weekend!

Wild West Gala

Save the Date for our Annual Wild West Gala on April 18! Get dressed in your finest Jeans & Jewels and come hang out with us at Richard's Barn for a night of good food, great friends, and lots of fun! This year's event will be on April 18 and we can't wait to see you all there.

TOPSoccer

We're ramping up for the spring season of TOPSoccer as well. Join us with our friends at MYSA for a skills camp on Friday evenings. Volunteers are also needed to help players learn new skills and to have fun!
