The Great Futures Report | July 2026

A Word From The CEO

The Heat Is On!

Summer is in full swing, and while many families are enjoying the season, our team is hard at work preparing for one of the most exciting expansions in our organization's history.

In just a few short weeks, we will open five new Boys & Girls Club sites, expanding opportunities for hundreds more young people across our region. This August, we are proud to welcome four new school-based Clubs within the Santa Maria Bonita School District at Bruce, Bonita, Fairlawn, and Oakley elementary schools, along with a new Club at Lewis Flamson Junior High in the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.

Behind every new Club opening is an incredible amount of preparation. Our team is currently recruiting and onboarding more than 30 new team members, providing comprehensive training, preparing classrooms, purchasing supplies, and making sure every detail is in place before students arrive. It is exciting to watch our staff come together with a shared commitment to creating safe, welcoming, and engaging environments where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

These new locations represent more than additional sites. They represent our continued commitment to serving more children and families throughout our communities and ensuring that every child has access to caring mentors, academic support, enriching experiences, and opportunities to reach their full potential.

I am incredibly proud of the dedication and teamwork our staff demonstrate every day. Thank you to our school district partners, supporters, volunteers, and community members who make this work possible.

Together, we are building brighter futures for the youth we serve.

With Gratitude,

Maria Fabula, Chief Executive Officer
