Hello Sato Families,
We had another great week at Sato! It continues to be exciting to see our Dragons engaged in their learning, supporting one another, and taking advantage of the many opportunities that make Sato such a special school community.
Last Thursday, our M.E.Ch.A. and Latino Americano Clubs hosted a potluck to celebrate the conclusion of Latino Heritage Month. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to come together, share food, celebrate culture, and recognize the rich traditions and contributions of the Latino community. Thank you to our student leaders and staff who helped organize this meaningful celebration. Events like these are a great reminder of the diversity, pride, and sense of belonging that make our Sato community so special.
This weekend, our Sato Drone Soccer Team will be competing at Browning High School. Our students continue to impress us with their creativity, teamwork, and technical skills as they represent Sato in competitions. We wish our Dragons the best of luck and look forward to hearing how they do!
Looking ahead, our 10th and 11th graders will be taking the PSAT on Tuesday. This is a valuable opportunity for students to assess their academic skills and prepare for future college entrance exams. We encourage students to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come ready to do their best.
Finally, we have a fun event to look forward to on Friday! Our ASB will be hosting the Halloween Night Market from 6:00–9:00 p.m. at Sato. It promises to be a great evening for our students, families, and community to come together and enjoy some Halloween fun. We hope to see many of you there!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our students, staff, and school community. There is so much to be proud of at Sato, and I appreciate all that our families do to help make our school a great place to learn and grow.
Have a great week, Dragons!
All the best,
Chris Thompson
