The Pearl Cleage and Zaron Burnett Center for Culture and Creativity

The Fulton County West End Performance Center is now being managed by the City of Atlanta and renamed: The Pearl Cleage and Zaron Burnett Center for Culture and Creativity. Along with the mural, the city is also investing in upgrading the interior of the building, and it should reopen within the coming months.

Muhammad Yungai, a muralist and artist is painting the mural on the exterior of the building directly across from Shrine #9 and wanted to give us a courtesy sneak peek at the design, as The Shrine has been an important pillar in Atlanta's West End for decades.
