The St. Paul’s Annual Giving Campaign     

That’s right . . . it’s that time of year!

I hope you’ve received your Annual Giving Campaign material in the mail. The campaign continues our theme of “This Is Our Story.”

You may have attended our Ministry Fair this past Sunday. The event showcased over thirty-five ministries that tell the story of Jesus’ love, care, and justice. The AGC is yet another vehicle that allows us to tell our story because without the financial support of this congregation, we would not be able to tell our story as fully and robustly.

I can’t say it enough: telling our story of love, compassion, justice, and equality is important. Especially in this current social, environmental, and political climate, the story that comes forth from St. Paul’s matters. It is God’s story, and it tells of a God who is creative . . . a God who embraces diversity and relationship . . . a God who wants wholeness, freedom, and liberation for all people. Our story is one of curiosity and wonder. It weaves together tradition with a progressive spirit and allows so many to be fed in body, mind, and spirit.

People need a place to hear this story because they might not be hearing it anywhere else.
