Blessing of the Animals Service

We’re excited to announce that the Blessing of the Animals Service will be Saturday, October 19 at 10:00 am. Tell your pets to mark their social calendars for a “special blessing” just for them. Members of the congregation and the community are invited to bring their pets to this outdoor event on the church grounds from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Plus, several animal rescue organizations will be on site with information about volunteering opportunities, as well as how you can help their adoptable shelter animals. They might even bring some of their four-legged friends. Additionally, you can be a blessing to these animal rescue organizations by bringing any of the following much-needed items to our Blessing of the Animals event.

  • wet “pate” cat food;
  • cat litter (unscented clumping);
  • dog treats;
  • peanut butter;
  • Kongs;
  • pee pads;
  • old towels, sheets and blankets;
  • poop bags;
  • and cleaning supplies like bleach, paper towels, fabuloso, windex, Clorox wipes, blue Dawn and hand sanitizer.

You can bring any of these items to the Blessing of the Animals event, or drop them off at the church in the next few weeks. The wonderful shelter animals will be very appreciative!

Tell your friends and neighbors. This event will be a great opportunity for everyone to learn more about some local animal rescue organizations—and St. Paul’s!

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Please join us in helping local families in need this Thanksgiving. We will be collecting food for 300 food boxes for the Honey Brook Food Pantry and 50 boxes for Care Center. There are 2 ways you can help.

If you are interested in shopping and purchasing food directly, please consider signing up to supply a full meal for the Care Center. Click here to see the list of items. Items due by November 8.

Don't like to shop or would prefer to provide a monetary donation, please help us with the Honey Brook Food Pantry collection. Due to the large number of items needed, we will be purchasing items in bulk. Your monetary donation will help us buy things like cases of green beans, flats of stuffing, etc. We estimate it will cost $13 for each food box for Honey Brook.

Also, please consider donating leftover Halloween candy to add a special treat to the boxes. Donations can be left on the sign up table in the narthex.

Stay tuned for more information on the food box packing event. We will need many helpers!

Sign up here to contribute to the drive.

Thank you!
