A Note from Pastor Melissa - January 2, 2025

Happy New Year, St. Lukers!

I pray that you are starting 2025 with the reminder that “it’s all good!” lingering in your ears from Christmas Eve. As I have been pondering that idea, I’ve really become aware that for me, what often makes it “good,” even when circumstances are not, is the people I’m sharing life with.

So, as we embark on a new year, I want to offer a word of encouragement to be sure you’re not beginning this year trying to go it alone. One of the great gifts that church offers us is chosen family–people who are walking alongside you, whether it’s through our Care or Missions Ministries, one of our ongoing groups, exercise classes, or in any of the plethora of other things that happen each week at St. Luke’s.

We have a LOT of new opportunities coming up this month, so take a look at the wide variety of options below and see where you need to plug in–with options for every lifestyle, schedule, and interest...

Reminder: On Sunday, January 5 we will have one combined worship service in the Sanctuary and live online at 10:00 a.m. There will be no kids/youth programming during worship (childcare for infants-age 2 will be available). Regular worship times and venues resume on January 12.

St. Luke's Week in Review

Christmas Eve...It's All Good ❤️

What an incredible Christmas Eve celebration we had here at St. Luke's! Over 3,400 people joined us across all our services to worship, sing, and reflect on the joy and hope of Christ’s birth. Each moment—every carol, every candle (and glow stick), every prayer—was truly beautiful.

Thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who made it all possible. From the greeters to the musicians, tech team, decorators, and countless others behind the scenes, your dedication and love shined brightly and created a welcoming space for everyone to experience the wonder of this holy night.

We are so grateful for each of you who came to worship and celebrate with us. As we step into the new year, may the hope and joy of Christ guide your hearts and homes in every season ahead.
