Thank you to all who joined us to celebrate Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 7 - Congratulations Petco!
"The Ionia store is different than most Petco locations that focus on food, services and supplies for household pets. The Ionia location has all that as well, but it also offers items required to raise various types of farm animals, as well as other products and supplies designed for rural customers. The store is the second of its kind in Michigan after a similar one opened this March in Cadillac."

Board Vacancy
There have been a few changes in our current Board of Directors:
- After many many years of service on the IACC Board of Directors, we are sad to announce the resignation of Becky Wagner from our leadership team. Although she still plans to support and be involved with the Chamber, she decided it was time to focus on other priorities, which we think is very well deserved! Plus, we already roped her into helping us with Expo. We want to express enormous gratitude to Becky for her years on leadership, service, and contributions to the Chamber!
- In Accordance with our by-laws, the board of directors have appointed Amber Rood, Director of Sales & Marketing at The Daily News to the vacant position created by Becky's resignation. We are excited to welcome Amber to fill the remainder of Becky's 3-year term expiring on December 31st, 2024. Congratulations Amber!!
- Amber's appointment has created a vacancy for a Director at Large, to fill the remaining term expiring on December 31st, 2023. Board service is an excellent way to have an influence in YOUR Chamber and community, develop personally & professional, and network.
