Dear Friends,

We are grateful for you! This fall, Loudoun Hunger Relief has served about 15% more families compared to last year, and you have helped us meet the need. Your generosity has enabled your neighbors to get through a tough time, and we are filled with awe for our amazing community.

Our Thanksgiving dinner bag drive was enough to help thousands of families, thanks to your generosity. We have a special shoutout to QTS Data Centers for their 3,000 bag contribution! Tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 22, we will have our drive through Thanksgiving dinner distribution, sponsored by Toth Financial, from 10am to 1pm. LHR is honored to serve as the conduit between those who are able to give and those in need of a helping hand.

Tomorrow is a busy day overall, with the 23rd Annual Freeze Your Gizzard 5K, benefiting Loudoun Hunger Relief, being run at Ida Lee Park in Leesburg! Come by to cheer the runners on, and drop off a food donation. We'll be there from 9am until around 11am. The Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department is continuing their food drive at the Ida Lee Rec Center through Nov. 30, and we are so grateful for their partnership.

As you sit down to your own Thanksgiving dinner, we ask that you remember those who are in need of your help. You may receive our annual appeal in the mail, or you may wish to contribute to LHR on Giving Tuesday, December 2. However you can give, know that it makes a difference to those in need right here in Loudoun.

Thank you for standing with us during one of our busiest seasons. Whether you donate, volunteer, or spread the word about our work, you are helping ensure that every family in Loudoun has access to good food and a supportive community.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
