Holden Village Road to Recovery

Dear Friends

We know that the news last month about our timeline for reopening may have been hard to read, that we are hoping to reopen Holden to guests in 2028 but planning to make it until 2029. This was certainly not how we envisioned our second year as Executive Directors starting. Like us, you may be experiencing a range of emotions: anger, sadness, frustration. Maybe you’re feeling hopeful and optimistic, trusting that we will once again prove how resilient Holden Village is.

Whatever you’re feeling, we invite you to join us at 2:00pm PST on Sunday, September 20 for a virtual Town Hall. We will be joined by members of Holden’s Board of Directors and long term staff to share updates about the latest with road construction, plans for how we can run with perseverance this race that is set before us, as well as what brings us hope for Holden’s future.

Please use the button above to RSVP. Even if you can’t attend live, you will be sent the recording afterwards. We will also make the recording available on our website.

Thank you for the outpouring of support you have shared with us and with the Holden Village staff as we navigate this time. We look forward to being together virtually soon.

With good courage,

Bjorn & Elise Peterson
