Dear Members,

As the school year moves forward, the team at ECESC is continuing to plan for the 25-26 school year and beyond. With this month’s update, I am excited to remind you of the impactful services and initiatives that are part of our ongoing commitment to educational excellence and workforce readiness in East Central Indiana. We invite all members to reach out to discuss these programs and any other needs as you reflect on your district and building goals.

We are also looking forward to connecting with our member districts at Summer of Learning conferences. The visual below provides a preview of some of the sessions that our staff will be leading at each of these events.

If you haven’t registered for these events yet, be sure to do so soon. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Pat Haney

IU East School of Education Accepting New Students for 2025-26 NLPS Pathway - Tomorrow’s Teachers Today (T3)

T3 is taught by IU East faculty. Each week, students work independently or with their T3 classmates through their Canvas classroom’s lectures, readings, activities, and assignments. T3 instructors will have a Zoom classroom from 8:45 AM – 9:30 AM on Thursday and Friday. Students are required to attend only one of these Zoom sessions each week. Each T3 class is paired with a classroom experience within the school district so students can observe and practice what they are learning, providing an immersive career exploratory experience for the student.

T3 students earn up to 12 college credits for the four education courses IU East offers within the NLPS pathway, counting directly toward a BS in Elementary or Secondary Education.

Please contact Jerry Wilde jwilde@iu.edu or Tyler Klein tyklein@iu.edu for more information. IU East classes begin August 25.
