Graduate Study Scholarship
Highly qualified final year undergraduate students or eligible graduates may apply for the DAAD Study Scholarship for a full Master's degree program at a German university or for study at a German university as part of a master's program completed in the US or Canada. Apply by November 4th.

University Summer Course Grants
This program provides scholarships to attend a broad range of three- to four-week summer courses at German universities, which focus mainly on German language and literary, cultural, political and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany. Apply by December 1st.

Artists-in-Berlin Program
The DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program is one of Europe’s most prestigious grants. Each year around 20 visual artists, writers, filmmakers, composers and sound artists are invited to Berlin to focus on their work and engage with the city’s vibrant art scene. Writers, filmmakers and composers/sound artists are encouraged to apply now through December 1, 2020.

RISE Germany
RISE Germany is a 10-12 week summer internship program for undergraduates in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, and computer science. Students receive the opportunity to work with researchers at universities and research institutions across Germany. The working language is English. Apply by December 15th.

Career Booster 2020 Goes Virtual
Join DAAD and the Goethe Institut on Nov. 5 + 6 for US-wide virtual Career Days for high school and college students! Whether you or your students are interested in studying in Germany or want to hear first-hand about various career opportunities, German representatives from business and higher education will be available to answer your questions. This event is free, but registration is mandatory.

Virtual German American Event Series
Labor Market Policy with Minister Hubertus Heil
The German American Conference at Harvard University is going virtual, and DAAD is a partner! On Nov. 5, the event series will feature a keynote address and discussion with German Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil on approaches and concepts in labor market policy across the Atlantic, and how national preconditions impact the way we navigate the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis. All events are free of charge and registration is open to everyone.
