Consider Adopting a Fuzzy New Family Member!

Apollo is a one-year-old German Shepherd dog: Hello, I'm Apollo. I'm young and full of curiosity. I love exploring my surroundings, sniffing out new scents, and learning new tricks. I'm mellow, too. I enjoy quiet moments, a good belly rub, and just being near you. Loyalty is my middle name! I promise to be your faithful companion, your confidante, and your best friend.

Cashew is a 2-year-old Domestic Medium Hair cat: Hello, I'm Cashew. I prefer quiet corners and gentle voices. I'm a bit shy but don't mistake that for indifference. I've got a lot of love to give, just in my own, reserved way. I'm not the type to demand constant attention, as I value my independence. But, I promise, when I curl up next to you, I truly cherish your company.

Roscoe is a two-year-old male Pitbull Terrier dog. Hi, I'm Roscoe! I am incredibly loveable and very active. I love to run around the park and play fetch. I love belly rubs and going on adventures with others. I make an incredible family member and am ready to find a place to call home!

We were excited to have multiple pets adopted from our shelter during the holidays! Let's keep that trend going as we get into the new year.

All pets adopted from the Town of Sunnyvale will be vaccinated, de-wormed, spayed or neutered and microchipped. If not been done, the adopter will receive a voucher to have them done. All fees are waived to adopt any of our pets.

If your family is ready to add a member, we currently have many adoptable animals in our shelter looking for a new place to call home. Learn more by visiting our Petfinder page or calling (214) 862-4525.

Saving Water = Saving Money

Remember, your annual wastewater rates are based on your water consumption during the months of December, January and February, which can save you about $200 each year.

Reducing indoor and outdoor water use this winter will save you money all year round.

For water conservation tips, visit the Water Resources page on the Town's website.
