Greetings,

Today's newsletter is all about UC's newly announced President.

Thank you President Michael V. Drake + Welcome President James B. Milliken

Friends of the University of California is thrilled to announce the selection of President James B. ("JB") Milliken as the 22nd President of the University of California. With decades of higher education experiences from the University of Texas (UT) to The City University of New York (CUNY), “Chancellor Milliken embodies the qualities and leadership experiences the University of California community needs at this moment,” said Janet Reilly, chair of the UC Board of Regents. We could not agree more. Click here to read on. We look forward to working together.

We thank President Michael V. Drake, M.D. for his steady hand and transformative leadership over these last 5 years. Be sure and wish him well in his next chapter.
