(INDIANAPOLIS) February 12, 2026 – ECR announced today a new partner, EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants (“EPIC”). EPIC is a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm providing specialized services and products across select industries and client sectors. Featuring nationwide offices, EPIC now supports ECR and Heartland FPG businesses, including Java House and Splenda, by providing comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions.
In addition to its broad suite of services provided through its specialty businesses, EPIC supports racing and automotive organizations by reducing their total cost of risk through highly tailored insurance and risk‑management programs. The firm serves all levels of motorsports organizations including race tracks, race teams, sanctioning bodies, promoters, motorsport event organizers and automotive clubs.
“As a competitive racing organization, we look to align with partners who understand the unique demands of our team and our sport,” stated ECR co-owner Ed Carpenter. “EPIC’s ability to provide the right support enables us to perform with the consistency and excellence we expect from ourselves.”
EPIC’s programs address the unique exposures of high‑performance environments, including driver and crew safety, vehicle and equipment risk, track and facility hazards, garage operations, transportation logistics, and protection of high‑value inventory. The firm also advises major racing events on crowd management, event security, technical operations, and incident response.
“For high performance racing organizations like ECR, effective risk management is critical to protecting their operations, their people, and the long-term value of the team,” said Ryan Staub, Principal, EPIC Motorsports Insurance. “At EPIC, we are committed to understanding, addressing, and mitigating the evolving risks that elite motorsports teams face as they continue to push the limits of innovation and competition.”
EPIC continues to deepen its expertise in markets where specialized knowledge is most in demand. In addition to their longstanding focus on sports and entertainment, the EPIC team also has extensive expertise in construction and design, food and beverage, real estate, transportation and logistics, healthcare, and senior living, while developing tailored solutions for lawyers, accountants, and dentists.
Next week, ECR’s Chevrolets will both be on track for the first time this year at Phoenix International Raceway. Alexander Rossi, driver of the No. 20 Java House Chevrolet, and Christian Rasmussen, driver of the No. 21 Splenda Stevia Chevrolet, will participate in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES Open Test on the oval on February 17-18. The 2026 season begins in the Streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., on Sunday, March 1.
