The Last Quarter of 2026!

Hey y'all,

Happy Fall! We’re officially entering the busy season, the final quarter of the year, the start of the holidays and often a particularly challenging time for the folks we serve.

The best resources aren't always the ones you need today. They're the ones you're glad you know about when the right client walks through your door. So, if we haven't connected in a while. Get on my calendar by giving it a click!

Working through a complex referral? I’m always happy to be a sounding board for level of care, clinical fit, and potential resources.

Here’s to a grounded season ahead.

Be well,

Crista

Sero Program Feature:

BrightQuest Nashville

Sometimes, more independence requires more support first. That’s one thing I appreciate about the BrightQuest model.

BrightQuest Nashville provides long-term residential treatment and step-down care for young adults (typically 18-35) living with complex psychiatric conditions, with an emphasis on community, real-life skill building, relationships, and gradually increasing independence.

Think beyond stabilization: helping people build a life they can sustain. BQ's continuum includes residential treatment, PHP, IOP, and outpatient care, supporting clients as their needs evolve.

Key Differentiators

Outcomes that Matter

  • 74% working or in school one year post-treatment, vs. 37% at intake
  • 99% living in stable housing one year after discharge
  • 85% report good or excellent relationships with close family
  • Unplanned hospitalizations decreased from 52% to 16%

Three Pillars of Care

  • Therapeutic Community: Healing through connection, accountability, shared experience, and real-life practice.
  • Family Therapy: Education, guidance, and support that help families heal and reconnect together.
  • Independent Living & Work Development: Building practical skills for daily life, employment, education, and greater independence.

East Atlanta Counseling

Located in Oakhurst, Midtown and North Druid Hills. Cat Moon, the Founder of EAC has created a space where excellent therapists feel supported to do their best clinical work. "In turn, we believe clients get the best care when clinicians are appreciated. Every therapist is intensively trained in an evidenced based modality (EMDR, RO DBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, DBR) but we believe that the real change agent of therapy is the relationship.

One thing that makes us different is our collaborative model. We can see each member of an entire family under one roof. Working mom can see Beth, Tesia can see dad who has a military background, Elizabeth can see them as a couple, Lariscy can see their child, and Dr. Chris can see the whole family together.

For our community, we offer low cost therapy services through our interns. We currently have an adult RO DBT Skills Class on Wednesday nights for perfectionistic clients who need support to feel more connected to others through increasing flexibility, vulnerability, and connection."

Best Kept Secret

Good News for Animal Lovers

My dog pal, Gala

Did you know Bridges to Recovery and Alta Mira can accommodate animals that aren't ESAs or service animals?!

That's right! A pet doesn't need a special designation to be considered. This is one of several ways we reduce barriers for our clients.

For those whose pets are an important part of their lives, this is a helpful detail to know when exploring treatment options.

Sometimes, it's the little things that make a big difference in finding the right fit.

Have questions about how this works for a particular client? Reach out, and let's talk through the options.
