Missouri Main Street Connection Welcomes a New Staff Member

Kathy Wilkerson

Missouri Main Street Connection is excited to announce that we expanded our team! Kathy Wilkerson joined the Missouri Main Street team as the Operations & Resource Support role this month. She will expand our research for additional grant funding opportunities for our network communities and MMSC. Kathy had this to say when asked what she was most excited about in joining MMSC, “I’m most excited about joining MMSC because of the amazing work they are doing with Missouri’s Main Streets, it is “Home Town Takeover” in real life. I love seeing the downtown districts becoming a vital part of the community, like they were when I was growing up.”

Kathy recently moved to Branson from Nashville, TN where she worked in the healthcare field. Her previous positions included the city government, state government, and finance fields. She grew up in Idabel, OK and earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science in Secretarial Science from Eastern Oklahoma College in Wilburton, OK. Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, genealogy, and reading.
