College visits are open to students as an opportunity to learn about a college's admissions process, majors, financial aid, campus life, and more, directly from admissions representatives. This weekly newsletter sent to parent/guardian and students' school email provides the most up-to-date dates, times, and locations for upcoming college visits.
If space permits, all grade levels are welcome to attend, however, If space is limited seniors will receive priority. Seniors, please bring student ID so in the event of limited seating you may receive priority seating!
| | |
Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?
Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
| | |
Follow steps below if you want to receive email reminders for upcoming college visits:
-
Login to student's school email address
-
Click the "College Visit Email Reminder" button below to open form
- Answer questions, select colleges you wish to receive reminders for, complete brief survey, and submit
-
You may change your Google Form response through the same link if logged-in to your school email address as more colleges are scheduled to visit throughout the semester.
Please do NOT rely soley on email reminders which are provided as a courtesy.
Continue checking this newsletter weekly for the most up-to-date College Visit Calendars. If you have questions, see Ms. Corona in the College and Career Center in room 2 before school, at break, lunch, after school, or send an email to kcorona@fjuhsd.org
