The vestry nomination committee has selected six new vestry members to be presented to the parish for approval at the parish meeting on Sunday, August 30. The nomination committee, composed of the retiring vestry members and three at large members, chose the slate from over 74 individuals nominated for consideration by the parish. The proposed individuals were chosen to bring their special talents to the current needs of All Saints’. All are active in various ways at the church, and are confirmed, pledging members of the congregation.
The procedure of presenting a slate of six candidates for approval rather than voting among 12 candidates was approved by the vestry in 2013 in order to provide for the specific needs of the church in the coming few years.
Your vote is needed to approve or disapprove the new slate of candidates for the vestry class of 2023. Ballots must be received by Monday, August 24, 2020. Results will be announced and new vestry members introduced during our parish meeting (online) on Sunday, August 30.

Amy Gaynor
All Saints' member since 2013
All Saints’ is a part of my family’s life. We volunteer in the nursery, have taught 4th and 5th graders, and I now serve with Zack as the chair for the Children and Youth Task Force. My girls are acolytes, and members of the choir. My husband Darren and I served as cochairs for Kanuga 2019, and are on deck to host Kanuga in 2021. We attend adult education classes. We work with Refugee Ministries, delivering backpacks, and providing transportation to Threads. We serve Thanksgiving dinner with Covenant Community. I am a proud alumni of the Talents Roundtable group, served on a search committee, work as a nurse at Camp Mikell, made annual fund calls, and we hosted fellow saints for the neighborhood dinners series.
Strengths and skills I will bring to the vestry:
I will bring a knowledge of the children and youth programs to the vestry. I have a passion to serve the underserved. I have experience in healthcare, which has made me good at listening, dealing with delicate situations, and making concrete progress toward a collective goal. I have worked with the underrepresented in community health for 20 years, and am excited to explore how the church can address the racial inequities in our city. I have served on PTOs, and on the board of International Women’s House.
Amy would also like you to know:
I want the parish to know I have family that has truly benefitted from All Saints’. Darren and I have been married for twenty one years. I have two daughters, Nora (14), and Darcy (12). I have worked for the last eight years as a nurse practitioner for a nonprofit in Mechanicsville, The Center for Black Women’s Wellness. I also work at a private Ob/Gyn practice in Marietta, teach at GSU’s School of Nursing, and serve as a leader in Girl Scouts.

Sherry Collins Terlemezian
All Saints' member since 1984
My recent parish activities include serving as usher on Frank Virgin’s team, Flower Guild, Buildings and Grounds, Stewardship, Phone Tree, The Welcome Team, and serving a chair of the Profile Committee to gather parish input to support the Search Committee.
Strengths and skills I will bring to the vestry:
As a commercial interior designer, I have worked for both large architectural/interior design firms and international real estate firms managing teams to develop solutions for numerous diverse clients (e.g. technology, financial, & retail). It is an honor to be nominated to the vestry at All Saints’. Over the years, I have been involved in a wide variety of parish activities providing me with a broad perspective of our worship and parish life. My desire is that my church experiences along with my professional activities provide the foundation to work with other vestry members for the continued growth and development of our congregation during this pandemic and beyond.

Russ Wofford
All Saints' member since 1995
In (and shortly before) the Mainwaring Era, I have served on the Parish Profile Committee, chaired the Search Committee for our Music Director, participated on the Parish Engagement Committee for the Future of the Block, and worked the aisles as a member of Usher Team No. 2.
Strengths and skills I will bring to the vestry:
I have reached the age where I must reluctantly confess my greatest strength may be my experience with this parish and the saints who compose it. I have been blessed to be a part of this wonderful community for 25 years, and seen it support my wife Dori, our three sons and me through good times and bad. I am grateful to serve in any way that y’all will have me.
Russ would also like you to know:
I believe that we best honor the heritage we share at All Saints’ by responding to the changing world we live in. To offer just one example among many, I see no contradiction in remaining committed to our traditional liturgy and creating new opportunities to welcome others to share in the love offered here every day. Our predecessors were courageous people. We should be too.
