Hello Neighbors and Friends -

The Summer Solstice is almost here (June 21st) and it certainly feels like summer. This newsletter includes a number of events that will help you get summer started locally, including the opening of the Westborough Farmers Market next Thursday, June 11th!

Additionally, several other annual observances take place this month:

  • June 14th is Flag Day, honoring the adoption of the U.S. flag on June 14, 1777.
  • Juneteenth (June 19th), a national holiday, commemorating the end of slavery (more than 2 years after the war had actually ended).
  • June is Pride Month, honoring and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. If you missed it, view our Pride Month Bulletin HERE.

Please note: our July Notes on Connection will be published on July 9th.

Yours in Community,

Kelley Petralia
