Dear Andrea,

We are all devastated by the fires and destruction in our beautiful Los Angeles community, and send those affected warm wishes and great success in rebuilding very soon. We can't imagine the shock and dismay these families are feeling, and our thoughts and prayers are with them.

As we move forward into the new year, we wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2025!

Warmly,

Andrea Sala

Foundation Spotlight: South Bay Lakers Celebrate College Night with El Camino College Foundation Partnership

On January 24th, the El Camino College Foundation held a President's Circle donor event at the UCLA Health Training Center where we watched the South Bay Lakers defeat Portland's Rip City Remix. The "suite life" was enjoyed by all, especially since those in attendance got to witness Bronny James score a career-high 31 points! Thank you South Bay Lakers for selecting the El Camino College Foundation as your nonprofit charity partner for College Night!

At halftime, legendary El Camino College Head Men's Basketball Coach, George Stanich, was honored for his 37 years coaching and teaching at El Camino College. Coach Stanich was accompanied by his sons, Jim and John Stanich, and was genuinely touched by the remarks and ceremony. He was also joined by former ECC coaches, players and friends. At 96 years young, Stanich graciously accepted his award in front of his ECC Warrior family and friends. Congratulations Coach! Please enjoy some event photos below.
