The Business of Construction

A Construction "Holding Company"

The post-WWII economic boom saw giant corporations dominating the economic landscape. By the late 60’s this corporate expansion was being accomplished by a wave of mergers and acquisitions that resulted in new corp. entities known as “holding companies”. They purchased diverse corporate entities leaving the existing management in place to run the business as a wholly owned subsidiary.

Reputation Is Everything

Decades of research have documented that integrity and reputation are the foundations of a construction enterprise’s prosperity. Long-term success is built over years through a reputation for excellence. Reputation is not just a marketing asset, it is the operating foundation that drives repeat business, attracts skilled people, reduces risk, and creates durable growth.
