Nebraska VR needs people with the lived experience of brain injury to serve as members of the Brain Injury Advisory Council

Volunteer members from across the state include people living with brain injury, their family members, and a variety of state agency and service provider representatives.

The Council:

  • Identifies needs and service gaps for Nebraskans of all ages with brain injury.
  • Recommends policy and system changes.
  • Advises Nebraska VR on Brain Injury State Plan goals.
  • Meets four times per year via Zoom (no travel required!)
  • Offers opportunities for more in-depth work through special committees.
  • Works to improve the lives of Nebraskans impacted by brain injury!
