We are in the Easter Season and hear stories about Jesus' appearances after the resurrection.

His disciples were at a loss. They didn't know what to do now that Jesus was no longer with them. So, they went back to what they knew -- they went fishing! Jesus appeared to the disciples on the seashore, fed them and instructed them to "feed my sheep".

Saul was on the road to Damascus and the light of Christ knocked him to his feet! The instructions he was given led him to Ananias who helped him regain his sight and completely change his mind about Jesus.

Jesus comes to us, as well, in our daily routines. Do we notice him since he doesn't give us breakfast or knock us off our feet? How do we respond when he says "feed my sheep"?

We'll think about these questions in worship on Sunday. I hope you can join us!"

May 4: Worship, Work & Friendship Time

We will tackle tasks inside and out, rain or shine, to spiff up the church or attend to repairs. Please dress casually and bring tools (rakes, shovels, trimmers, window cleaner and rags, floor cleaner and mops, etc.) if you're able to do some chores.

We'll have the usual coffee hour treats that you can have as you need energy to keep going! If you're not able to work, please consider donating cleaning supplies. Thanks everyone!

Is anyone in your family graduating this spring?

Please let our pastor know if you have 8th grade, high school, college, (undergrad or graduate level), or tech school graduates so we can schedule a Sunday to honor and celebrate their accomplishments.

If you are ever at the church without your cell phone, there is a landline in the Upper Room on the table under the TV. The landline jack near the mailboxes is no longer working so we had to move the phone for the time being.
