Creating Inspiring Experiences; Bringing Visions to Life.

“The best way to live a life that feels most natural to you is to follow your own rhythm.

Allow yourself to move at your own pace,

look after yourself and take as much time as you need.

Choose your desire, work towards it

and allow yourself to relax as you enjoy life’s journey.”

~Mandi Amor

We may live in a society which expects us to respond on a 24-7 basis and perhaps we have become accustomed to being on most of the time. I am certainly aware that this was my way of being for many years. I was good at crunching as much I could into a day to feel that I really did the most I could possibly do in a 24 hour period. I engaged in multi tasking and trying to make sure everyone’s needs were taken care of and I was really good at doing this…or so I thought. During my busiest times I remember regular bad headaches and even acting agitated towards those I loved. So as I ponder this period in my life I know that it did not serve me or others very well.

I feel it’s always been important to be authentic to who we are and now more so than ever. I also feel that being authentic is understanding and honoring our own natural rhythms. Being in nature on a daily basis has helped me to embrace a more organic and natural rhythm. In the last few years I’ve endeavored to listen to insights and to observe and engage more with my own rhythms, and nature certainly helps big time.

As an example, in winter, I have allowed and invited a more reflective me to spend extended times in nature and create just for the sake of creating - not because I am self imposing a deadline on myself to get something done. I feel a centered and present space in which to enjoy nature, my creative time, and my loved ones on a deeper level. I feel more in tune with my natural rhythms and I can see where they are mirrored with the natural world.

Everything feels richer when I am present and centered and honoring my own rhythm. I hope you'll take the time to honor your natural rhythm.

“Happiness is not a matter of intensity

but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.”

~Thomas Merton
