NEEDHAM COMMUNITY COUNCIL NEWS
| |
Congratulations to Sandra Robinson, our Executive Director, who received the Paul Harris Fellow award from the Rotary Club of Needham. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities. | |
The Council is so pleased to see Sandy’s efforts rewarded in this way! The Rotary also provided a contribution towards the Needham Community Council’s Thanksgiving Meals Program. We are truly fortunate to have the support of the Rotary Club and thank them for all they do to help make Needham a better place.

Thanksgiving Meals!
For the 5th year in a row, the Council wants to ensure that everyone in Needham has a freshly cooked Thanksgiving Dinner. With the help of the Needham Golf Club and Rotary Club, we will deliver over 300 home-cooked meals to Needham residents.
This program would not be possible without the support of our partners, volunteers and residents who support us. Thank you for being part of our family of neighbors helping neighbors.
With Gratitude,

Community Highlights
The Council receives support from the community in a variety of ways, and this fall has been particularly busy, with activities and events that supported our food pantry. We are grateful to the Droney family who hosted a haunted house and encouraged attendees to donate their admission fees to our food pantry. Luke Berger, a teen who recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah chose to collect food for his mitzvah project, resulting in hundreds of pounds of food and supplies being donated to our food pantry. And the Pan Mass Challenge and the Jog Your Memory 5K organizers donated excess food and water bottles after their events. Thank you, Needham – we appreciate all the support!

We had at least 10 languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Haitian Creole, Arabic, Farsi, Portuguese, Filliipino, and Korean. Wow!
