Greetings

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s pumpkin patch a great success! With your help we cleared $21,985 from the sale of pumpkins, mums, and the tips our customers shared with us. We handled over 3400 large pumpkins!

We have sent contributions to Give Kids the World, Thornwell Home for Children, Isaiah 117 House, and Historic Paradise Foundation and the remainder of the funds will support our youth ministry and other needs here at Grace.

NAME TAGS AND PICTURES IN REALM

Another great thing about the pumpkin patch, as well as ALL of our other events, is that it gives us the opportunity to meet and talk to people that we may not have known before. As of last month, everyone has a new name tag with larger first names to make it easier for people to put a name to a face. Please wear your nametags in church and at church events so that we can know each others names and be more welcoming to guests.

Speaking of putting names to faces...everyone with a Realm account has the ability to upload a picture of themselves in their profile. Realm is a much more useful tool for everyone if photos are attached - a photo directory! If you don't know how to upload your picture, please feel free to reach out to Ami who will do the uploading for you.

Opportunities to Give

GREAT CHICKEN CHALLENGE FOR FORT MILL CARE CENTER

The fourth annual Great Chicken Challenge is in process! Between now and Nov 22, we are collecting whole chickens to donate to FMCC for their Thanksgiving baskets. Not every family needs a full-sized turkey, thus the chickens. With food insecurity at an all-time high, the need is greater than ever. When you're at the store, please grab a whole chicken, bring it to church and place it in the freezer in the kitchen. If you have any questions, please contact Tom Blackhurst.

STEWARDSHIP PLEDGES

Each October we focus on how our financial gifts along with the ways we serve impact the church and it's mission in the world. This year we are particularly focusing on "extending the love of Christ." Your giving to Grace allows us to do all the things we do for worship, fellowship and Christian education, but it also allows us to do amazing work in the community as we connect and serve with partners who are literally transforming the world. Grace was a wide impact, and it is possible because of your gifts.

As we ponder how we can reach out in 2027 your pledges help us form a plan or a budget for how we will do so. Each family is asked to consider your pledge for 2027 and to return a paper pledge card in the white offering box or to the office or to complete an online pledge card here by Sunday, November 1. Thank you to the households who have already made their pledge.

Thank you for your faithful giving and for making it possible for Grace to extend the love of Christ beyond our walls!
