All Saints’ Sunday:
Because Someone Made Room for Us
This Sunday — All Saints’ Day and our Plenty Good Room Stewardship Ingathering
Before we ever knew how to find our way to church, someone was already making room for us. Someone welcomed us, taught us to pray, helped us discover God’s love, or showed us what it means to follow Jesus. On All Saints’ Sunday, we remember those saints with gratitude—and we ask how our lives can make that same room for others today.
The faith we have received is also a gift we are called to share. As we remember those who have gone before us, give thanks for the saints among us now, and celebrate those who are still to come, we will gather for our Plenty Good Room Stewardship Ingathering. Bringing our pledges forward is one way we offer gratitude, faith, and hope to God—and help prepare a welcoming future for St. Timothy’s.
These celebrations are deeply connected. Someone made room for us through prayer, generosity, service, teaching, welcome, and love. Now it is our turn.
When I first arrived at St. Timothy’s, God gave me the image of a tree planted beside streams of water—deeply rooted, nourished by grace, and bearing fruit in its season. I saw a spiritually mature congregation and sensed God asking, Will you make room for others? Will you nurture the next generation in faith?
Today, we are seeing the fruit of that invitation. Young families and new people are finding a home here, children are growing in faith, new relationships are forming, and our ministries continue to touch lives within our walls and beyond them.
This Sunday, come remember those whose love shaped your faith, give thanks for the community God has entrusted to us, and celebrate the ways God’s love is bearing fruit at St. Timothy’s. Bring your prayers, hopes, and gifts for those who will follow. Whether or not you have made a financial pledge, there is plenty good room for you at God’s table.
The saints before us planted seeds whose fruit we enjoy today. Together, let us plant seeds of faith, hope, love, and generosity for generations yet to come.
Note: We will have space for you to pray out loud for those Saints who you wish to remember and name in the prayers of the people.
Come. Remember. Give thanks. Celebrate. And help us make room for those who are still finding their way home.
With gratitude and hope,
Pastor Robin+

Welcome New Members
Please join me in welcoming our three newest members to St. Timothy’s.
-
Robin Ernst. Robin came to us from Holy Comforter, after a season of caregiving for her husband. (Picture on directory)
-
Barbara Eskins. Barbara came to us via her friend and previous coworker Ellen Adriance.
-
Kimberly Rodefeld. Kim came to us after having taken an art class with Pastor Robin at Holy Comforter’s Cozy Peach. After grieving the death of her mother, she is ready to serve in a new place.
They all go to the 10:30 service.
| | Meet Your Vestry Nominees | | On November 1, we will meet after the 10:30 service for our Stewardship In-Gathering and Fall Parish Meeting. During the meeting, we will vote on our vestry nominees. | |

Ellen Adriance
1. What is your occupation and how would your gifts and experiences contribute to the functioning of the vestry? Retired analyst/project management/educator instructional design: organizational skills and educational systems planning, project implementation.
2. Our parish’s mission is “Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we experience God's love and share it.” What does this statement mean to you personally? This allows for each person to bring their gifts as motivated through their heart and experience, providing variety in offering gifts and sincerity in how we express and share God’s love.
3. What would you consider to be the top priority for St. Timothy’s in this season of our parish’s common life? My involvement at St. Timothy’s has not been deep or varied enough to offer insight or direction, however my skills and willingness for service will support the choices of the vestry.

Mark Lehnhoff
1. What is your occupation and how would your gifts and experiences contribute to the functioning of the vestry? As a retired coach/teacher, my gifts of a common sense approach, organization, team leading and management skills contribute to the efficient functioning of a vestry. My gifts of patience, thoroughness and attention to detail benefit a vestry.
2. Our parish’s mission is “Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we experience God's love and share it.” What does this statement mean to you personally? Inviting and welcoming individuals and families to St. Timothy's means many things. In the past, when tradespeople have come to our parish for work and they indicate they are looking for a church, I invite them. When people are new to our church services, I welcome them just as I welcome our long-time members. Inviting and welcoming is an ongoing process of positive attitude and hospitality.
3. What would you consider to be the top priority for St. Timothy’s in this season of our parish’s common life? In my mind the ongoing maintenance and the continued fiscal responsibility to use funds to promote our parish, ministries, and mission is the top priority for St. Timothy's.

Bonnie McDaniel
1. What is your occupation and how would your gifts and experiences contribute to the functioning of the vestry? As a real estate agent/Broker, I’ve had the pleasure to assist and provide direction to many individuals, families and businesses to navigate purchasing and/or selling properties. To do that well, it’s helpful to have a servant’s heart and to be aware of and inform them of all pertinent information needed to make a good decision. That often meant researching relevant information at City Halls and County entities, from inspectors, insurers and always continuing education. As a business owner, marketing skills were a necessary priority.
Along the way, I have served on numerous boards and commissions and served three+ terms as an elected Angleton City Councilperson. Responsibilities included budget decisions and strategic planning. I’m currently serving on the board of directors of the Angleton Area Emergency Medical Corps, a non-profit EMS serving the greater Angleton area.
2. Our parish’s mission is “Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we experience God's love and share it.” What does this statement mean to you personally? Our parish’s mission to share God’s love means the Holy Spirit is among us and as we experience God’s love we are led to love others and share our time and selves prayerfully with each other. God’s love overflows into relationships in our families, with friends and our community and is expressed through service, sharing, caring and sometimes just being there.
3. What would you consider to be the top priority for St. Timothy’s in this season of our parish’s common life? A top priority for St Timothy’s is to welcome new families so they can know and feel God’s love with us.

Alison Rule
1. What is your occupation and how would your gifts and experiences contribute to the functioning of the vestry? I am a capital project manager for a chemical company. In this role, I bring various people together to agree on project objectives, scope, and implementation plans. I also put together bid packages and submit them to contractors. Then I review the bids to ensure they are technically comparable and the project requirements are met. This experience could be very applicable if there are upcoming projects for the church. But even in a more general sense, I have a gift for getting a team on the same page by listening to viewpoints and finding common ground.
2. Our parish’s mission is “Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we experience God's love and share it.” What does this statement mean to you personally? To me, the action word is “share” – we should share not only God’s word, but our time and any other blessings we can. This might be donations of material items or volunteer time, but to me it also means being a compassionate listener, offering encouragement, and stepping up to help others.
3. What would you consider to be the top priority for St. Timothy’s in this season of our parish’s common life? I believe a church should always seek to grow its congregation, but based on seeing the same handful of people filling a variety of roles in the church, I think finding more volunteers should be a high priority. I didn’t get involved as a videographer until I was asked - in part because I didn’t realize there was a need and in part because I didn’t know what the role required. I think these are two questions that could easily be answered and posted where the congregation can review.

Art Sale Benefitting Choral Scholars
Now available - 25 prints of the original “Open Heaven" by Pastor Robin. The price unframed is $15 per image. Funds raised go Choral Scholars to help enrich our worship

Support our Choral Scholars program
Choral Scholars are college or upper high school students that are recruited to sing in the Chancel Choir. We've lost many members in the last few years, so these extra voices enable us to continue the musical traditions of St. Timothy's. We also see it as a ministry, to love and support young musicians as they grow both musically and spiritually.
These students are paid a small stipend for their time and talents. As you consider your giving this year, I invite you to consider supporting this program. $50 will sponsor a Choral Scholar for one week of rehearsals and services. $200 will sponsor a month of music. EVERY DOLLAR helps us continue bringing our music to worship each week.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration.

Altar Flowers
In 2026, our set of 2 Altar floral arrangements will be present at regular St. Timothy’s Sunday services only on the occasions when parishioners provide flowers for special thanksgivings or remembrances. Floral arrangements may be given in memory, thanksgiving or celebration of whomever and/or for whatever the person/family donating flowers chooses for that selected Sunday. A pamphlet by the Flower Chart in the Narthex outlining this process is available. Please do note on our wall-mounted flower chart the Sunday(s) you wish to provide flowers and sign on that date. We have 2 local floral shops—Carriage Flowers and LJ Flower Co.—we use. By the Monday or Tuesday of the week before your selected Sunday contact your choice of shop to arrange for and pay the flower shop directly for your 2 arrangements order. You will no longer provide a check to St. Timothy’s for flowers. Kim Lehnhoff will coordinate flowers and is available to help with any step in the process of arranging for your flowers. Contact Kim at (979) 299-9777 or email kim60lehn@gmail.com with questions or for help.
