Over 34 million Americans have diabetes, and over 88 million have prediabetes. There are several different types of diabetes, but the most common is Type 2 Diabetes. In Type 2 diabetes, the body may not be sensitive to the hormone insulin, which helps bring blood sugar from the blood vessels into the cells for energy production; or the body may not be producing enough insulin to get sugar into the cells. In both scenarios, blood sugar becomes elevated and leads to health problems associated with diabetes.

Type 2 Diabetes can be prevented!
