Our Savior Comes;

Will We Welcome Him?

Mother Rebecca

“Now to the gate of my Jerusalem,

The seething holy city of my heart,

The saviour comes. But will I welcome him?"

From Palm Sunday by Malcolm Guite

On Ash Wednesday, each of us was invited to the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God's holy Word. Endowment's Wide Reach

Did you know Transfiguration’s Endowment Fund is not just one big fund?

The Legacy Fund, was joined by a fund dedicated to Outreach purposes and has evolved to include six sub-funds that support the mission and ministries of our church: the Legacy fund, the Outreach fund, the Music fund, the Joanna Elizabeth Pierce and Justin Ford Pierce Youth fund, the Christopher Rodgers Seminarian fund, and the Infrastructure fund.

Each year, Endowment fulfills grant requests that serve the needs of our church, such as the name badges, interior signage, music chairs for the performance hall, youth mission trips, and contributions to non-profit agencies in our local communities. Endowment gifts and planned-giving bequests help our invested funds grow.

Do you have someone or a ministry you would like to honor? You may specify one of the sub-funds, and that individual, ministry, or family will be notified of your gift (the amount always remains confidential). If you'd like more information on planned giving, contact Alan Dunlop, Endowment Fund Chair.
