Wisconsin Forward Testing will take place the end of March and in April. Goal setting and practice tests will be taking place over the next couple of weeks in Homeroom in anticipation of Forward testing.
The examination is a statewide, standardized and summative assessment given to students that gauges your child’s achievement in the content areas tested in relation to grade-level standards. Results from these academic tests will help us evaluate our curriculum and instruction and provide another measure of how your child is achieving academically.
Results from these academic tests will help us evaluate our curriculum and instruction and provide another measure of how your child is achieving academically.
Parents/Families: Please see the schedule below of when the Wisconsin Forward will be administered and make your plans and appointments for your student accordingly. We know that missing school cannot be helped at times and there will be chances to make up missed testing.

Congratulations to Logan Dammeir and Bella Block for being nominated by the SOUL Club Advisors, Ms. Beth Schultz, Ms. Tanya Butke, and Ms. Jennifer Kinney, in recognition of their outstanding leadership and compassion. When SOUL Club sought ways to support a staff member's fight against cancer, Logan and Bella stepped forward and took charge of planning and implementing a school-wide bracelet sale and ribbon campaign where students wrote positive messages of encouragement. They demonstrated exceptional dedication by sacrificing their lunch periods to organize activities and leading SOUL Club meetings with enthusiasm and commitment. Their willingness to help whenever needed and their compassionate hearts have made a meaningful difference.

Important:
Student Attendance Procedures
| | Students need to be to school by 7:10am and are to be in their homeroom by the time the bell rings at 7:20am. | | |
Student Attendance and Attendance Procedures
One of the biggest ways parents/guardians can help their child succeed this school year is to make sure their child gets to school, on time, each and every day. The evidence is clear: children with good attendance are more likely to be successful in school. High attendance rates are linked to high student achievement. Every day counts, and missing school even 10% of the time has a significant negative impact on reading and math achievement as children progress through school. We want to ask for parent’s/guardian’s commitment to making sure their child attends school every day possible this year.
When a child does have to be absent from school, we ask that you communicate with us about the absence BEFORE 8:00AM. When your child will be absent, you have three communication options:
Call Mrs. Kramp in the main office at 262-348-3040 to speak with her and/or leave a message.
| | |
When to Send Your Child to School or Keep Them Home?
At Lake Geneva Schools, we know that regular attendance is key to academic success! Being in class daily helps students build strong habits, stay engaged, and gain valuable social skills. However, we also want to maintain a healthy, germ-free learning environment.
Use this guide (https://bit.ly/healthyLGS) to help decide when your child should attend school or stay home to recover. If your child has a fever over 100.4°F, vomiting, or diarrhea in the last 24 hours, it's best for them to rest at home. For minor symptoms like a runny nose, if there’s no fever, they’re ready for class!
When in doubt, contact the school health office, and let's work together to keep everyone healthy and learning!
| | Wisconsin Respiratory Viral Report is a great way to see Respiratory Illness trends in both the State of Wisconsin and different Regions of Wisconsin. If your child is diagnosed with a Respiratory Illness, please update their building health office and keep home until they are well enough to be in class and ready to learn. | | LGMS Athletic Registration (Concussion Form) | | |
Hello LGMS Parents/Guardians!
We are very excited for this coming school year! For our athletics, we do have forms that are required for participation. We will be having parents/guardians complete the concussion/cardiac arrest agreement (waiver) through google form (linked below). This form is needed for your child to participate in ANY athletic intramural or interscholastic sport at LGMS but only needs to be filled out once per year. This form also needs to be filled out with your child. We want athletes to know and understand the signs and symptoms of a concussion or possible cardiac arrest.
All of the information needed is linked on the google form. This google form will need to be filled out prior to the first practice of the sport your student signs up for to be able to participate.
Also required is a school physical form. Please see link to the form below. This form is to be filled out by the parent and physician.

Communication Protocol
Whom do I contact with a question or suggestion?

The communication protocol starts with the staff member closest to the situation, as that person usually has the most information. However, at times, additional personnel are required to resolve specific concerns.
