Unbound Day Retreat

UNBOUND Ministry

Fri. Aug. 29, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Join us for this transformative event as we reflect on the deep freedom that Jesus offers us by restoring our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

As children of a loving God, we were created to live in intimate relationship with Him. However, sin has broken this connection, leaving us bound by lies and chains of fear, anxiety, hopelessness, and shame.

But here's the Good News: Jesus has brought salvation and liberation! Through His sacrifice, we can be set free from the bondage of sin. Yet, even as believers, we sometimes find ourselves still struggling with anxiety, fear, guilt, and hopelessness.

That's where Unbound comes in. During the Unbound: Freedom in Christ Day Retreat, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. We will explore the depths of our hearts, identify areas of bondage, and learn how to surrender them to God's healing and transforming power.

Through teachings, reflections, and practical exercises, we will learn how to repent, place our faith in God, extend forgiveness, renounce lies, embrace our authority as children of God, and receive the Father's blessing that brings restoration and wholeness.

Men's Silent Retreat: Spiritual Exercises Preached

Fr. Michael Maher, S.J

Thu. Sep. 11, 4:00 pm – Sun. Sep. 14, 1:00 pm

Are you ready to Fuel Your Passion For Christ?

If so, you’re ready for the Men’s Only, preached silent weekend Ignatian-based Retreat, Moving Towards God with St Ignatius of Loyola. Your experienced retreat master, Fr. Michael Maher, S.J., has an earned doctorate in early modern European history. He teaches and resides at Marquette University.

While recuperating from an injury he received in battle, Ignatius of Loyola formulated a set of meditations which had as their focus a method for moving towards God. Fr. Michael Maher, S.J., will take retreatants through some these steps that have been recognized for centuries as helps in removing those things that take us from God and providing insights on how we can move towards God. This men’s only, silent retreat will provide an opportunity to develop those skills that were advanced by Ignatius and provide a means for us to develop our spiritual lives.

Spiritual Direction will be offered.

Cost: Single occupancy is $395.

Retreat includes 3 nights and 8 meals.

Space is limited, register soon!
