What do you think?

I’m sure you’ve had this experience: a salesperson hands you a receipt and says, “There’s a link to a survey at the bottom—please let us know how we did.” Sometimes they even add, “I hope you can give us a 5.”

Do you fill those out? Or do you only leave feedback when something goes wrong?

I’ve spent much of my career in roles where customer input directly shapes decisions. Customer feedback is incredibly valuable—and not always easy to get.

Personally, I’m always happy to share my opinion. I hope you are too.

This month, I have a simple request: please take two minutes to complete our annual membership survey.

This is your association, and your input truly matters. We’ve kept the survey short because we know your time is limited. It will only be open through May 15, so if you can, please take a moment now—before you finish reading this newsletter—to click the link and complete it.

At the end, you’ll have the opportunity to enter a drawing for one of two $50 Amazon gift cards.

We will carefully review every response and analyze the results to identify what’s working—and where we can improve. That’s the whole point.

You may remember that in a recent column, I shared insights from our Early Professionals focus group in February. That group generated several great ideas, and I’m pleased to share that we’re ready to put one into action.

Participants told us it would be incredibly helpful to offer an orientation for new team members. With new employees joining member companies all the time, this is a simple way to help them quickly understand and take full advantage of everything NACM Business Credit Services offers.

As a result, we will regularly schedule one-hour virtual orientations, open to both new and current members of your team. The 2026 orientations will be:

We encourage you to share this opportunity with your team, especially as new employees come on board. They can register by clicking on a date above or by going to the events page at NACMBCS.org.

And if you have ideas like this that members will benefit from, please include them in your survey comments. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Have a great May!

Welcome New Board Members
