Why Now? In today’s disconnected, all-too-often impersonal and remote world, Humor Camp delivers an in-person, face-to-face and very human learning environment designed to present in-depth, relevant and professional content and deliver an immersive, interactive, fun and uplifting experience. Humor Camp is an informative, mindful, social and spiritual humor retreat held in a setting creatively dedicated to developing a deeper relationship to laughter; the universal, human connection.

Meet the Humor Camp Leadership Team



Will Luera is an improviser, director, trainer, and arts leader who has spent his career helping people connect more deeply through comedy, storytelling, and collaboration. He serves as Executive Director of Lifeline Productions, leads training and facilitation work with organizations and teams, and continues to teach and perform improv nationally and internationally. His work lives at the intersection of creativity, communication, and human connection – whether he’s onstage, in a classroom, or in a workshop room. At the heart of it all, Will is passionate about using the arts not just to entertain, but to build empathy, spark insight, and bring people together.

This October, Jamestown (Lucy’s birthplace) and the world will be celebrating the 75^thanniversary of “I Love Lucy.” Our host city and the 2 museums will be bustling with plenty of festive anniversary activity. Need CEU’s?  Last year, Humor Camp offered 7.5 Continuing Education credits approved (nationally) by the American Psychological Association and, in New York, by the New York Education Boards for Social Work, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists and Marriage and Family Therapists.  Stay tuned for news of this year’s CEU-approved issuing entities... and how many hours!
