An urgent alert from the US Section of the
Women's International League for Peace and Freedom

PLEASE SHARE WIDELY!  URGENT... TIME SENSITIVE.  RESPOND BY JANUARY 8

WILPF members, At-large and in Branches:

A member-led effort on the ONE WILPF Calls since June has resulted in a strategy to launch an exciting nation-wide event

Solidarity Event for WILPF in April 2017

That means one day when all WILPF members will be asked to participate together in a single theme and in a limited number of ways, in order to maximize our visibility and outreach on social media.

Imagine mobilizing WILPF members for peace, the planet & empowerment across the US on a single day in April 2017

We've created a variety of levels of participation to make it easy for everyone:
  • Single At-large members living far from other WILPF members
  • Struggling small Branches
  • More vibrant Branches with greater capacity
Everyone  can do something to stand with us on one day in April.

Attached you will find:

A full proposal that outlines the plan
The proposal contains a  date/theme response form   (pg 8-9)
Please complete and return by January 8th.

Early decision commitment form
Download Word File | Download PDF File
Please complete and return no later than January 29th

We are sending each document in two formats-- an editable Word doc and a PDF that will ensure that all the formatting stays put, and is easy to read.

Please give this your attention,  and share it within your branch or if you are an At-large WILPF member, share it with like-minded friends.

The hope is that flexing our collective strength together will improve our ability to be agile, timely and to act together when it is necessary to do so. In the next four years it's going to be necessary to develop these skills!

Thanks

The ONE WILPF ALL MEMBER CALL Team and SOLIDARITY EVENT planners.
