February 2022 | Early Childhood Advocate Updates
Each month brings us new opportunities to support the early childhood workforce in Weld County. In late January pandemic response stimulus funds were beginning to be made available to child care providers through sustainability grants. This much needed support will be available monthly for nine months. January also marked the start of the 2022 legislative session. The Colorado Children’s Campaign produces Kids Flash notifications including mention of legislation that they are supporting. To find out more you can go to www.coloradokids.org to sign-up and receive updates. Mark your calendars to attend the Kids COUNT presentation for Weld County on February 10, 2022, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Look in the body of the newsletter for the link to register.
