SUPPORT

Grateful Beyond Words: Thank You, Volunteers!

As the weather gets colder and farming season slows down, I want to extend our gratitude to all the volunteers who joined us at the farm this year! So far in 2025, we've had 2,125 volunteers, totaling 4,412 volunteer hours completed. From animal chores to event assistance, to field volunteers and group trips, we all appreciate the time and energy you put into our community. Everything we accomplish at Land’s Sake Farm is possible because of your support.

I'd like to give a special shoutout to Wellan Montessori, The Brandon School, Seniors Helping Seniors, and our Volunteer Brigade for coming weekly or biweekly for much of the year.

Tasks included maintaining our education garden, tending to the animals, working in the fields, and occasional cooking projects! Their work in combination with all other individual volunteers keep the farm running smoothly.

We hope to work with even more volunteers next year! If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here or visit our volunteer page on the website to view available opportunities. Email us at volunteer@landssake.org with any questions, concerns, or additional details about volunteering.

Thank you!

FARM

Smash it, Don't Trash it! Compost Your Pumpkins at the Farm

Don't trash your pumpkins, drop them in one of the compost bins in Land's Sake's front driveway! Farmers are grateful for these additions to our compost pile. Compost is an important part of regenerating our soil. Carved pumpkins welcome, however nothing with paint or stickers, as they are not compost friendly.
