Solar & Battery Rebates Now Available

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) now offers rebates for residential and commercial solar power systems and battery storage. Installing a rooftop solar photovoltaic system or a behind-the-meter battery energy storage system in your home is an environmentally conscious way to offset your energy usage and contribute to the City of Pasadena’s clean energy goals.

PWP also offers Net Surplus Compensation (also called Net Energy Metering) for customers who generate excess solar energy on their systems. Additionally, PWP is not charging plan review and inspection fees for solar and battery systems. The fee waivers apply only to PWP-related solar and battery project costs. Structural, Building & Safety, meter and other non-energy-related fees may still apply.
