Dear Epiphany Family,
Taylor Irwin joined our staff in August of 2024. She was a Candler seminarian and in discernment for ordination to the priesthood. It's hard to believe that it's been two years already. She has since graduated from Candler and is preparing, God willing, for ordination to the transitional diaconate in December and the priesthood next June. She also has exciting things ahead in her life outside of church. She is getting married in October to the Rev. Hope Anderson and is moving to Greenville, SC where Hope serves at St. James Episcopal Church. Taylor has served our parish well. We will express our gratitude for her ministry on Sunday with a send off blessing during worship and a celebration during coffee hour afterwards. I hope you will be there to express your gratitude to her. I look forward to seeing you Sunday.
Grace and Peace,
Amy

Help with Making Sandwiches
The Decatur Area Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM) serves more than 150 families and 350 unhoused neighbors each month, providing food assistance, helping prevent utility shutoffs, and purchasing life-sustaining prescription medications for those in need throughout the Decatur area.
DEAM, which is housed at Holy Trinity Parish in Decatur, relies on volunteers from partner churches to support its meal ministry. This summer, while Holy Trinity's kitchen is being renovated, DEAM is seeking volunteers to prepare sandwiches off site and deliver them for distribution.
If you would like to help, please sign up at the link below or email the Rev. Carmie McDonald for more information. Your gift of time can make a meaningful difference in the life of a neighbor experiencing food insecurity.
