Together we grow in generosity.

Let’s hear what you have to say…

Have you shared your story yet? Nothing is more encouraging than hearing how God has been generous to us. Sometimes that is through a miraculous event and other times it is through the generosity of others.

Please consider sharing a sentence or paragraph about your story of God’s generosity to Trinity Church, attn: Stewardship, 139 Ocean Ave, Cranston, RI 02905 or office@trinitycranston.org, subject: Stewardship.

Together we grow in generosity: by Pat Baetzel

God’s generosity can be felt when unexpected “coincidences” take place.

In August 1998, my husband, George, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins mantle-cell lymphoma. For some unknown reason, one night I stayed up to watch the 11:00 news. During this broadcast, they talked about a research program pertaining to George’s diagnosis. At his next doctor’s visit, we asked about this program but were told that it was not being done in Rhode Island. However, he was accepted into the program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. He lived for another nine years.

The Child Care Room Make-over Continues!

Thanks to Nancy Wrathall and her power tools, our kids now have a new work/play station! Be sure to stop by to see the continuing transformation of this space.

And, since you'll be there anyway, why not bring along a new toy or two?

Toys will be shared by those in nursey to 5 years old.

Thank you!

All Saints Day Sunday

November 1

8 and 10 am

This is the day when we remember we are surrounded by a “great cloud of witnesses” supporting us in our faith journey – Saints like Paul, Mark, John, Matthew, Mary, as well as all the saints in our lives. We sing “I sing a song of the saints of God…and I mean to be one, too” as a reminder that, through baptism, we become one with Christ as beloved children of God, a saint with a lower case “s.”

Therefore, we will renew our Baptismal Covenant. You are invited to bring in pictures of our deceased relatives and friends which will surround the altar.

From the Social Outreach Team

We had a wonderful amount of food items delivered to the food pantry this week.

They are in need of peanut butter and jelly, cereal and pasta.

For their Thanksgiving baskets they are in need of cranberry sauce, canned corn and turkey gravy. The deadline for these items is November 1.

Thank you Trinity Family for your many donations.
