As the holiday season approaches, the Maude Kerns Art Center is filled with excitement and anticipation for one of our favorite annual traditions: Art for All Seasons, our Members Exhibition!
This special exhibit celebrates the incredible creativity, imagination, and artistic spirit of our members. Whether you are an emerging artist or have been creating for years, exhibiting your artwork is a wonderful opportunity to share your vision, take pride in your creative journey, and connect with others through the power of art. There is something truly joyful about seeing our galleries filled with the diverse voices, ideas, and expressions of the people who make the Art Center such a vibrant community.
The Art Center offers a variety of ways to give the gift of art this holiday season. Whether it’s purchasing one-of-a-kind artwork from the galleries and gift shop or a gift certificate to take a class or workshop, giving art is a sure way to enrich the lives of your family and friends.
We hope you’ll join us this month in celebrating our members, supporting local artists, and making art part of your holiday season.
Thank you for making the Art Center a place where creativity and community flourish!

The Art Center lost exhibiting artist, longtime member, instructor, past Board member, and friend Pat Arrera in early October. Accomplished in various media, including ceramics and mixed media painting, Pat exhibited in many shows at the Art Center over the years, including “Art and the Environment” (April 9 – May 29, 1994) and “Journal Notes: The Group of Five,” in which she was one of the featured artists along with Kathy Haydon, Hilary Russell, Donna Fountain, and Bobby Mandel, January 10 – February 15, 2003. She was also a member of the Maude Kerns Retrospective Committee that organized the large retrospective of 75 Maude Kerns paintings at the Jacobs Gallery in April 1994.
A legacy artist, Pat exhibited a mixed media painting titled Infinity (pictured) in “Legacy: 75th Anniversary Exhibit,” May 16 – June 20, 2025. Her passion for art and her creative spirit defined her life. She is much missed!
