It's been a busy week! Here are the highlights:
My Gym Yorba Linda is now open in Yorba Linda! Congratulations to owners Jeremy and Janine and thank you for the tour.

I look forward to seeing this facility thrive in our community!
Great to see our Chino Hills community celebrate Arbor Day by coming together over the weekend to plant 50 trees at La Sierra Trailhead and participate in a trail clean up.

Thank you to all the volunteers for your hard work!
Thank you to Santiago Canyon College for having me and for all that you do to expand opportunities our students!

I enjoyed touring the campus and seeing the Veterans Resource Center and Science Center.
Thank you to Rotary Club of Brea and to President Carrie Flanders for having me at your meeting this week!

We had a productive discussion on pressing issues facing our community such as rising inflation, the border crisis, fentanyl overdoses and foreign policy with Russia and China.
The Sunburst Youth Academy helps teens get on the right track by growing self-confidence, discipline, skills and education needed to succeed and fulfill their potential.

Thank you to LTC Sanchez and team for showing me around and for all that you do!
Great to spend National Day of Prayer at the La Habra Mayor Prayer Breakfast featuring Jackie Slater.

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
Only in California.

I joined Rep. David Valadao and my California GOP colleagues in a letter urging Governor Newsom to suspend the gas tax as Californians struggle to keep up with rising prices and the State has a $68B budget surplus.

Instead, Sacramento increased the gas tax. I'll continue pushing back.
I came to Congress to bring some common sense to Washington, break through the partisan gridlock and get things done. I’m proud that my record in Congress shows my commitment to deliver results for Southern California communities, with more than a dozen bills passed out of the House.

I’ll continue to find common ground with my colleagues on both sides of the political aisle while sticking to my conservative principles and holding the Biden administration accountable.
The best job in the world is being mom to Christine, Kelly, Alvin and Hannah.

Happy Mother's Day to our amazing moms in CA-39!
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a time to celebrate our AAPI community. We honor those who blazed trails before us, recognize those making communities better across the nation and recommit to uplifting AAPI voices and ensuring that future generations of Americans can achieve their dream.

Follow along on Twitter and Facebook at @RepYoungKim as we highlight a few of the many amazing Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders past and present from CA-39 and across the nation.
