An Important Note From Our Founder
Dear Friends,

People like yourself are the heart and soul of Feeding Pets of the Homeless.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless® believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond, which is very important in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets.

YOU help us keep pets with their humans.

What more can you do?

  • We would be pleased to mail you some “Homeless?” business cards that can be given to the homeless you see with a pet. The card gives them our phone number to call if they need pet food or veterinary care. Reply to this email with your mailing address.

  • You can also distribute the “Homeless?” cards to social workers, police and first responders that you know.

  • You can share our mission with your own veterinarian. Right now, we have over 1,400 active hospitals that we can call upon, but we are always looking for more.  Or maybe you know another local animal welfare organization that we can collaborate with and should get in touch with. We work closely with the San Francisco SPCA and many others.

  • You can share our newest video on your social media.

  • You can participate in our upcoming, “Give a Dog a Bone” week, August 7 - 13th, 2022 by donating pet food or holding a pet food drive.

  • You can purchase a t-shirt and wear it. It may open a conversation with someone.

Thank you for reading and sharing our mission.
With gratitude,
Genevieve Frederick

Happy Birthday Krae!
