Dear Friends,

With busy and full lives, we are sometimes taken aback by how the years fly. We are ever grateful to have found homeopathy and naturopathic medicine early in our lives and for compelling work with patients, students and colleagues alike!

To celebrate the 35th year of NESH, we are running a special NESH Alumni ONLY RAFFLE with prize values totaling over $3500. Look for a July 9th email sent directly from Kim with details. If you didn't receive it (and have checked your spam folder), update your contact info and tell us where/when you studied with NESH to see if you are eligible to enter!

We invite everyone to join the Countdown, a FREE 7-part email mini-series to sample the vitalistic tradition of homeopathy and as an introduction to analysis using Cycles and Segments. Get a sense of what we teach & how we do it.

Here's to continued learning and deepening our capacity to help others!

Best wishes for a healthy, rejuvenating summer,

Drs. Amy Rothenberg & Paul Herscu

PS. QUESTIONS? Schedule a time to speak with Kim McGuire, NESH's student liaison/administrative director, who has been working with us since 1997. She can help guide you through everything that NESH has to offer to best match your current needs and interests - from free articles on specific topics to our various course offerings and everything in between.

You Got Bit By a Tick, Now What?

Paul Herscu ND, MPH, DHANP

Here is my 15-minute personal opinion on what to do with the tick that you found attached to your body. Plus a reminder on my prior discussions on air quality during the summer months.

If you Hear Hoofbeats, Don’t Think Zebras – A Case of Chronic Lyme Disease

Sometimes all our efforts at prevention are not enough and you need to contend with chronic Lyme Disease. Here is an example of a case treated with homeopathy by Amy Rothenberg ND, DHANP.

ADDITIONALLY, for those of you who have studied the Cycles & Segments approach with NESH, the video below is a repertorization with additional comments for this case (excerpted from NESH's 12-month Guided Case Studies In Theory & Practice - Diving Into Polycrests #2 Course)

For others who are not familiar with Cycles & Segments, it is a system dynamics approach to classical homeopathy which informs all aspects of practice. This video analysis presupposes you have taken the NESH Two-Year Develop Expertise in Homeopathy Course. However if you are interested in viewing this video to get a glimpse into our approach - we suggest you first read up on it HERE for context.

We also recommend signing up for our FREE 7-Part email mini series Countdown for additional learning about Cycles & Segments.
