Shop the Village was a huge success! We saw incredible crowds throughout downtown, all 150 free shopping totes were gone by noon, and businesses reported some of their best sales of the year. Limitless processed 450 transactions—three times their usual Saturday traffic—and vendors across town shared similar excitement. We’re grateful for every shopper, vendor, youth participant, and business who helped make the day special. Thank you, Paulding, for showing up to support small! If you missed the photos, check them out on our Facebook page or on our website. We're working on details for 2026, so stay tuned!

Hidn Treasures has officially settled into their new location at 100 E Jackson Street in downtown Paulding, and the Chamber was proud to celebrate the transition with a ribbon cutting. After opening their first storefront in February 2024, owners made the strategic move downtown to take advantage of stronger foot traffic on the square.
Their new space continues to showcase a variety of local makers and vendors, including TK Prints, Michele’s Handmade Gifts, and Kelly’s Creative Side, as well as many others. Shoppers will find unique, handmade pieces that highlight the creativity within our community.

| | C & C Treasures Grand Opening | | |
We’re excited to welcome C & C Treasures to downtown Paulding! Casey and Claude Partain officially opened their storefront at 110 W Perry Street, and we celebrated the big moment with a ribbon cutting during Shop the Village.
If you love unique décor, antiques with character, and those “I didn’t know I needed this but I absolutely do” finds — this is your kind of place. What started as a passion project has now grown into a full brick-and-mortar shop that fits perfectly into the local shopping scene.
Hours:
• Tuesday–Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM
• Holiday hours will vary
We’re thrilled to see C & C Treasures take this step and make their home downtown. Stop in, browse around, and show them some love as they kick off this new chapter in Paulding.

PPEC Lights First Home With Fiber Internet
Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative celebrated a major milestone on November 10 with a ribbon cutting at the home of Dennis and Tammy Clark, the first subscribers to receive the co-op’s new fiber-to-the-home internet service.
The Clarks selected the 1 Gig x 1 Gig WorkWire plan, and both shared how the upgrade has already transformed their remote work and daily connectivity. Other early subscribers in Paulding echoed the excitement, noting faster speeds, smoother streaming, and strong local support.
PPEC has completed more than 300 miles of fiber so far, with construction underway in Roselm, Ottoville, Payne, and Grover Hill, and more communities scheduled next. The co-op’s goal is to bring reliable, affordable high-speed internet to rural and underserved areas across its service territory.
Residents can check availability or sign up at www.PPEC.coop or by calling 800-686-2357.

Congratulations to Mayor Ruger on this recognition and his service to the Village of Haviland.
| | Paulding FFA Awarded AgCredit Mission Fund Grant | | |
Paulding FFA has been selected as one of AgCredit’s 2025 Mission Fund grant recipients, receiving $12,600 to support needed repairs to the chapter’s commercial-grade greenhouse. The structure, built in 2007 and maintained by Paulding Exempted Village Schools and agricultural education students, provides valuable hands-on learning in operating and managing a working greenhouse.
AgCredit’s Mission Fund awarded a total of $135,900 to 14 community organizations across its 18-county service area this year. Grants support projects that strengthen education, technology, environmental stewardship, and quality of rural life.
“We’re proud to invest in projects like this, where students are learning and understanding the positive impact of agriculture in their communities,” said Matt Adams, AgCredit Lending Manager.
The Mission Fund is now in its eighth year, continuing AgCredit’s commitment to supporting the future of agriculture and enhancing rural communities. More information about the program and future grant opportunities can be found at AgCredit.net.

Food Drive
November 1-30, 2025
|
Help the Paulding County Health Department Fight Local Hunger
The Paulding County Health Department has heard far too many stories lately from families right here in our community who are struggling with food insecurity. In response, the department is organizing a county-wide food drive to support our local pantry and help ensure no neighbor goes without.
They’re asking the local business community—the backbone of Paulding County—to join in this effort.
Businesses can get involved in several ways:
- Host a Food Drive: Collect non-perishable food items from your employees. Flyers and materials can be provided.
- Make a Corporate Donation: Contribute financially or donate goods directly to the local pantry to help restock shelves.
- Spread the Word: Share information about the food drive with your customers, clients, and social networks.
By partnering with the Health Department, your business will be recognized as a Community Health Champion, supporting families across Paulding County.
If your business would like to participate or learn more, contact the Paulding County Health Department at pchd@pcohhd.com or call 419-399-3921.
Together, we can make a real difference for local families this season.
