Free Screening of Jurassic Park

Friday, July 10

Easton Branch

Talbot County Free Library (TCFL) and Chesapeake Film Festival (CFF) will show the 1993 movie, Jurassic Park.

Refreshments will be served. 20 copies of the book, Jurassic Park will be given out on a first come/first served basis.

Rated PG-13

Runtime: 127 minutes.

This program is free and open to the public, no registration necessary.

Book Donations Accepted

The Friends of the Library are preparing for their book sale on July 24th and 25th and will be accepting items at the Easton Branch in the Frederick Douglass Room. We accept donations of books and DVDs in good condition.

Donations will be accepted on the following dates:

Tuesday, July 14: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 18: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, July 21: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Memoir Writing Group

St. Michaels Branch

The Memoir Writers' Group has been meeting in St. Michaels for over 20 years. Twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday, the group meets to share narratives on various topics. This group of writers creates a safe space for feedback and discussion.

Talbot County Reads the Declaration

Join the Talbot250 Commission on the Talbot County Courthouse lawn as we take part in a nationwide reading of the Declaration of Independence. Community members of all ages are invited to gather, reflect on the words that shaped our nation, and commemorate the approaching 250th anniversary of American independence.

Bring a chair, bring a friend, and be part of this shared civic experience.
