St. Patrick's Day Dinner tomorrow

The re-scheduled St. Patrick's Day Dinner will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 20, at 6:00 pm.
BBQ with the horses
Saturday, June 3 at 5:00 pm

Sign-up to join us at the Culver's home (9969 State Hwy D in Napoleon, MO) for a unique event showcasing their horse farm. BBQ will be provided. Please bring a side or dessert to share and your own beverage. Also bring a lawn chair. Outdoor games welcome.

Have the opportunity to see and perhaps ride one of the Culver's horses!
Narthex Addition Update
Construction begins
Delayed slightly by heavy rains earlier in the week, construction has begun on the narthex addition project. Construction is expected to continue for up to 5 months. 
 
The first phase of the project involves reconstruction of the east handicap ramp and doorway to make the entrance ADA compliant for wheelchairs.

During this time the east lower level entrance will be closed. Groups and individuals using the undercroft or kitchen will only be able to access this space by using the indoor stairway or back stairway entrance.
 
During construction we ask everyone to be especially mindful of their own safety and to exercise good judgment when workers and equipment are present. 
Church Garden blessed with new plants
Donated by the Holbrooks
Special thanks to Bob and Brenda Holbrook for their generous donation of new flowering plants in the church garden. The plants were donated in loving memory of their granddaughter Isabella Renee Garrett, 24, who passed away on January 7 of this year. May she rest in eternal peace.

Daily Prayer for the Search Committee
The Search Committee and Vestry of the Church of the Resurrection ask for your daily prayers as we continue the search process for our 5th rector.

This week we posted an advertisement in the The Living Church magazine, which will be mailed to all active Episcopal clergy.

Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose the next Rector of Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for and love us and equip us for our various ministries; through Jesus Christ out Lord. Amen.
