Open House on June 25

Pasadena Water and Power invites community members to an interactive Open House on Thursday, June 25, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Jackie Robinson Community Center, 1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave.

Attendees can move through multiple themed stations to speak directly with PWP staff and learn about key topics, including the new solar and battery storage rebate program, how to understand their PWP bill, current and upcoming rates, infrastructure priorities, water conservation and energy-efficiency incentives, and how PWP ensures reliable water and energy services for Pasadena. Guests will also have an opportunity to connect with PWP General Manager David Reyes.

The event is designed as a flexible, drop‑in‑anytime format, allowing visitors to participate at their own pace. Light refreshments will be available and RSVPs are encouraged.

Solar and Battery Rebates

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) now offers rebates for residential and commercial solar power systems and battery storage. Installing a rooftop solar photovoltaic system or a behind-the-meter battery energy storage system in your home is an environmentally conscious way to offset your energy usage and contribute to the City of Pasadena’s clean energy goals.

PWP also offers Net Surplus Compensation (also called Net Energy Metering) for customers who generate excess solar energy on their systems. Additionally, PWP is not charging plan review and inspection fees for solar and battery systems. The fee waivers apply only to PWP-related solar and battery project costs. Structural, Building & Safety, meter and other non-energy-related fees may still apply.
